The Lone Star Leaders Toastmasters club invites you to join us! We are a group of former and current Toastmasters leaders at the club and district levels who seek to help one another and new Toastmasters make the most of the Toastmasters program. We meet to practice our communication and leadership skills and share what works and what does not work. Our club meetings provide the structure to allow each member to practice both communication and leadership skills. We will feature prepared speeches by members and sometimes special guests, Table Topics (for practicing impromptu speaking skills), and oral and written evaluations. The club provides a warm, supportive, and fun learning environment for continued growth, friendship, and fun.
Toastmasters International provides members with educational programs to help build and strengthen both communication and leadership skills. Through active participation in the Lone Star Leaders club, Toastmasters can develop and continue to build their skills to take them to the next level of excellence.
The Lone Star Leaders club meets at the offices of Austin Energy, at 721 Barton Springs Road in Austin.
We meet on the first and third Thursdays of the month. Club meetings begin at 6:30 pm at the Austin Energy offices at 721 Barton Springs Road. Those who are interested can meet for dinner after the club meeting. Please email or call Tonia Norman, DTM (
